Our friend Val Brown recently got one year better! We celebrated her birthday dive bar style at a local place that looked un-appealing from the outside but was a slam dunk on the inside. Val got a huge draw of people at her party and it was a really fun night. I offered to make her birthday cakes, while Smoke filled in with the decorations, and her friends Rebecca and Stephanie brought the appetizers and good cheer. There are a million reasons why we love Val and we are very thankful to have such an awesome friend like her.
